GRINDER PUMP MAINTENANCE AND GUTTER CLEANING

These are two very important annual maintenance items for your home. As an additional service to you, the HOA can provide these services for a fee if you desire. Your Grinder Pump An important part of every home and building in the Club is a Grinder Pump Tank, which collects and breaks down household waste eventually sending the material into the HOA pressurized sewer system. If your grinder pump is malfunctioning, an alarm will sound along with a flashing light. It is very important that you service your pump on a regular basis, and we recommend and annual inspection. Having a tank overflow due to non-working pumps can create a serious problem. If the Grinder Pump Alarm goes off: 1. Grinder Pump in Alarm – you will hear a loud alarm going off (most sound like a loud beeping/clicking noise) and see a red blinking light. 2. Call Mona during business hours: 828-526-3646, or the gatehouse after hours: 828-526 3720. We will send the appropriate personnel or have them contact you to further discuss the problem with you. Gutter Cleaning It's very important for drainage and erosion purposes to keep your gutters clean and the leaves off the roof. If your gutters weren’t cleaned in the fall, we highly recommend getting them done as soon as possible. Rotten wood is a constant problem here on the plateau. Have grinder pump maintenance and/or gutter cleaning been done at my home? Most current and prior homeowners have utilized both of these services at some point.
