Need more variety and better prepared food. May be weakest area of club performance; Special attention to number of us dissatisfied with Chef. This season, the quality of the food has been less than satisfactory. The crab claws at last night’s buffet were Not edible.. The quality of a lot of the food seems to have dropped significantly this season. I would be happy to pay a premium for excellent food.. It seems that the food being put out for the buffets, especially the meats have fallen short. I think we have a great staff. The issues at hand are the consistency of the food. You may or may not get a good meal. I have a a really nice dinner and food that wasn’t edible. From what I can see I think Chef Scott needs to be more involved with the dinners and the members. The food is very inconsistent, especially at lunch. I have ordered the same salad at lunch three times recently. One time it was delicious, one time the rice was uncooked and inedible , and the last time the fried chicken was so overcooked it was inedible. The bad thing was that I had suggested it to a prospective member and I was so embarrassed. I am nervous to bring guests to eat at the Club, due to the inconsistent food preparation. We usually go to town instead. I love the Club, but the food has let me down on multiple occasions this year.

Inconsistent food and higher prices. Hot food needs to be hot, crisp food needs to be crisp.

The variety, quality and value of our food service has declined in the past year or two. I no longer look forward to having dinner at the Club as I did in the past. I never know what to expect and have had some really poor meals this year. We are NOT getting what we are paying for!

The seafood extravaganza was disappointing. Lobster tails were tiny and overcooked. Crab claws were inedible. Oysters were tiny. Shrimp and fish were great.

Quality of food is inconsistent. Staff is friendly and professional. Great servers and bar staff! Overall members concerned with the food, not the staff. I agree. The quality of the food has really changed since Marie. I have ordered the food to go and the herbs or spices in the chicken salad and potato salad had to be thrown out after they were tried. The fish and meat were in a sealed package and great. I won’t order anything prepared in the future. The bar/beverage is super.

Some of the food has been great and some has not been great. For example, the French fries used to be fabulous--hot and crispy. Now, they are often lukewarm and flabby. Soup is often lukewarm at best and salads have little dressing on them. The chicken parmesean was dry and tasteless. Buffets are unpredictable. The food may be perfect when it leaves the kitchen, but less so by the time a person sits down to eat it. Food is very inconsistent. Sometimes excellent. Sometimes poor. An example was veal served was so tough it could not be cut.

Not enough healthy food choices and light meals. Special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries not recognized at dinner by the dining staff like they were when Steve was in charge.

Menus are very uninispiring and repetitive, and dishes are often served luke warm, both plated and buffet (we have returned food to be reheated). Salads are frequently served with the barest
