2025 Club Survey Review
Cullasaja Club 2025 Member Satisfaction Survey
bonuses Also prices are too high. We can eat at good restaurants in town for less but that shouldn't be the standard. Food quality was the worst of my 7 seasons, by far. It was even difficult getting a burger while trying to navigate around the rest of the menu. As a chef I believe that Scott is very qualified, as executive chef he was very disappointing compared to other clubs and restaurants that we had to go to. Just a very poor showing. Service by bar team was as good as food was bad. While it is probably impossible to have everyone’s wish list on the menu, my husband and I always wish for more in line with the burger. More traditional, American pub food. Guy Overall, I do not feel that our food quality or offerings has been as good as before the new Chef came aboard. Menu prices have certainly increased measurably, especially given the quality of food/offering comments I mentioned. I think we have wonderful food and dining options at the Club. I've had a couple misses this season with some bad pizza and a chicken piccata that was dry and needed more sauce. Minor issues. The vast majority of the food has been delicious and high quality. Yummy crab cakes and steaks. I think we need a bit more soup variety. I've missed the clam chowders! The Reubens are to die for. Love the grain bowls. I am proud to bring guests to the club. Servers are great this year I would love to see fresh smoothies( healthy) somewhere. More lighter foods at the golf tournaments. Silvahna does not receive enough recognition for the outstanding job she does with making everyone feel welcome and like family. Improve food consistency and service speed at dinner. Improve bread service with dinner (something easy like warm sourdough bread with butter and/or olive oil/grated parmesan cheese). Food delivered to tables without the “plastic dome”. Food quality, experience, etc. need to be consistent with the prices we are paying. So many dining inconsistencies with food preparation and timing. Wine and Chef Table dinners are fabulous. It’s mind boggling to know it’s the same chef at the helm for regular dining; perfection on one hand and subpar on the other hand. Regular dining is as erratic as my golf game. Seriously, one never knows what to expect from a dining experience, except for delightful servers. Buffets can be logistically awkward with seemingly little consideration for crowd management. (Hamburgers in one room, French fries in another room?!) I'll be the minority, but better F&B hours for the weekend warriors :)

Fish offerings are not generally good. Overcooked and dry. The seafood extravaganza was not good, crab and lobster inedible . You would think they would be able to cook trout right.

The food is much improved this tear. We are using the club more because of it.

Chef Scott’s food is inconsistent in quality and preparation. It’s not in our Cullasaja culture to “send food back” so myself and many members I know, did not send our plates back for more cooking or less cooking or more spices, less sauce etc. I seemed to have different sides that were not salted or any herbs or spices used. At the ladies end of golf season luncheon, I asked for more peanut sauce on the side (5 other ladies at table also wanted more sauce). When dishes didn’t have enough sauce (very dry), that’s an easy fix, but not the other situations. Chef’s table in August was good… but nothing served there makes the Club menu and he seems to produce excellent food when he’s “in charge”of the kitchen.

Inconsistent food. Best meal we had there was when Chef Scott’s family was dining next to us on the Sweet Water Terrace. Thank heavens we were entertaining a couple from another club here on the Plateau. We couldn’t have been more proud.
