Club-Owned Golf Carts: Operation of a golf cart is at the sole risk of the operator. Only Members/guests registered with the Golf Shop may use Club carts. Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license. Carts must remain on the course; no use in residential villages unless Member-owned. Limit of two adults and two golf bags per cart. Obey traffic signs, stop at road crossings, and use paths where provided (mandatory on par 3 holes). Members are responsible for repair costs for damage caused by their negligence, or their guests. Cost of repair to a club-owned golf cart will be charged to the Member's Club account. Private, Member-Owned Golf Carts: Personal Golf Carts: Before purchasing your cart, specifications of your new cart should be submitted for approval through the Club Office. Every year the Club leases new carts, which are offered for sale at the close of the season. Contact the Golf Shop for details. Design & Color: Carts must follow standard design and be natural colors (e.g., white, off-white, silver). Accessories require Club approval. Equipment: Carts must have sand buckets for divot repair. Registration: All carts must be registered with the Club Office and display a blue decal. Owners must sign a liability release. Responsibility: Owners are liable for any damage caused by their carts. Privileges: Only Members residing in the Cullasaja Club community may have private carts, which must be housed at their residence. Usage: Private carts can only be used by the Member, their spouse, or immediate family with a valid driver’s license. Club Carts: Should the owner of a private cart need the use of one of the Club’s carts for any reason, the Member is required to pay the customary cart fees. Annual Trail Fee for Private Carts Annual Trail Fee: Private cart owners must pay the annual Trail Fee, as determined by the Club, for golf course use. Program Participation: Members and one designated user with cart privileges are covered by the Trail Fee. Other riders are subject to the prevailing cart fee per round. Guest Use: Guests may use the Member’s cart only when accompanied by the Member and must pay the prevailing cart fee. Opt-In/Out Deadlines: Private cart owners must opt in or out of the Trail Fee Program by May 1. Late enrollment does not include refunds for prior cart rental fees. Opting out after June 1 is not permitted. Billing and Refunds: Trail Fees are billed in January. Fees cannot be pro-rated and are non-refundable after June 1.
