Proper etiquette begins with being dressed appropriately, arriving for your tee time in advance, knowing the rules of golf, and taking care of the course as you play it. The list below outlines the basic etiquette that should be adhered to while playing golf at the Club: Be ready to hit when it is your turn to play. Search for lost balls within the allotted time. Only play one ball and keep pace by limiting practice swings. Don’t hit into a group in front of you. Leave greens promptly and record scores at the next tee. Repair any ball marks, replace divots and/or replace them with sand mix. Know basic golf cart etiquette and follow all daily cart path rules and entry/exit points. Know when and how to mark your ball on the green while not stepping in other’s putting lines. Know the order of play based on distance to the hole. If you are out of a hole, it is okay to pick up and record a maximum score based on your handicap. Be aware of your surroundings relating to the use of cell phones and music from portable speakers. Non-Golf Activities on the Course Walking, jogging, or fishing is allowed around the course before 8:30 a.m. or after 7:00 p.m., except during special events or weather delays.
