Our food is only average and too expensive compared to area restaurants

The food (except for wine dinners) is just not satisfactory. It is sometimes inedible, not done as requested, not hot. The trout is never good. The menu always has crab cakes and salmon on it. How about some other fish? The pastry offerings for bridge are store bought and not that tasty. The fruit is good. Keep pushing the limits of menu (farm to fork, world culinary explorations, etc...). Even though the staff and leadership is amazing, consider sending those we wish to develop as long term "keepers" as well as existing leaders to either Ritz Carlton Leadership (https://ritzcarltonleadershipcenter.com/) or Disney (www.disneyinstitute.com). Many classes are virtual, and can be done in off season. Once again very disappointed in food at clubhouse. Menus were more than often not pleasing. Portions were very inconsistent and I actually resorted to ordering the same thing every time . On the rare occasion I did order something different, I had to send back to the kitchen. Prices were high for quality of food. We usually eat at the club 3 -4 nights per week and lunch at pool or cafe 5+ times per week. The menu selections need to be updated more often, and several items do not compare well with those offered at local restaurants [ an example is the trout dinner]. Excellent excellent food and service - maybe add a few more plate warmers to ensure all servings are hot when delivered Food has been outstanding. Great variety and quality of the food. Wine selections have been excellent. I am satisfied but would like to see more menu variety (and food combinations) and more "sophisticated" presentation. I think we have a B+ food aspect for our club and Cullasaja is worthy of an A. I think Chef Scott is doing a good job and I know he has had to train a number of new employees this year, but I hope it can notch up a bit next year with a more seasoned staff. Our dining staff is excellent. they make the clubhouse experience special

I really love all of the staff. They really are like family and we’ve only been here 3 months!!!!

More variety in menu options would be nice - perhaps a menu change every 6-8 weeks.

Overall, we find the food experience to be somewhat below expectations in terms of satisfaction. Specifically quality of the dishes felt inconsistent, and the menu variety and offerings could benefit from more diversity to keep things fresh and appealing. I suggest exploring seasonal local ingredients and rotating specials to boost variety while focusing on standardizing preparation techniques for greater consistency. Wine dinner meals were an excellent.

We have an amazing group. This was the best year I think of the quality across the board.

I have always been a positive person but I have to be honest about the food this year! Cullasaja has always been known for the best food of all the clubs....not now. Many times the food is overcooked, not cooked enough, too salty etc. I try not to eat at the club! I ate at Lakeside recently and the food was excellent and less expensive than the food at the club. There is very little variety. Service at the Club is outstanding!! Food preparation has sometimes been inconsistent. Fish over or undercooked has been an issue. Fish at last wine tasting was the best I’ve had however. The chef’s dinner in August was a big disappointment. The food was not hot, and there was not enough of wine, and there were 16 guests instead of 12. Sunday brunch: healthier options (smoked salmon, etc.) over some of the southern basics.

Having WGA lunch orders made prior to tee off on Tuesdays would help with speed of service 9/26/2025 9:46 AM
