Quality is a real issues with any seafood, except Salmon. Consistency is my primary issue. I can order a dish which is very good and two weeks later order the same dish and it's terrible.

Prefer fewer buffets. Choice is good.

Dining room staff and bar staff are exceptionally good! They have been fantastic. This year it has been difficult finding something I would like to eat on the menu. Old standards have been changed. Too much breading, for example bang bang shrimp now has tempura breading. Salads have an inordinate amount of greens compered ro toppings. The menus does not change enough to warrant eating at the club several times a week, Please add a ground turkey/chicken, other than bean, option to “Wagyu Burger”. Have lower calorie, nutritious bowls, stir fry options, pastas, on a regular basis. Arnie’s should have an additional menu with “casual bar selections” ie wings, fish/shrimp tacos, bowls, We eat at the club for lunch almost everyday and have been very unsatisfied the entire season. The food at the fairway cafe is much better than at the clubhouse Inconsistent food. Example: Two people order well done salmon, one is well done and one is rare. Cheeseburgers seem different every time. Unfortunately, there is a great deal of inconsistency with the food and so you can't count on it to be good. I have tried every appetizer on the menu and did not find that they were very good. Not much taste to speak of. (Ex.: Bang Bang Shrimp may be ok, but doesn't resemble what it used to taste like!) Many times the food arrived cold. When sent back, food does not appear again for a very long time. (Is it sent to the end of the line?!?) I don't order the hamburger anymore because I have had it arrive raw and then at another time well overdone. (I had ordered it medium) These things may be the fault of helpers in the kitchen, but they should be trained in consistency by the chef. The holiday buffets and the wine dinners seem to be very good, but the day-to-day consistency is sorely missing. good food and a variety of menu is not there. The food has been absolutely horrible this season. I can count on ONE hand how many meals (dinner) that were edible. The food in general has been tasteless, cold and inedible. We don’t need fancy, we need good. I don’t care how many awards the chef has received. I do care about good, quality food that is consistent. Lunch is always decent. What happened to dinner? It’s time to find a new chef. We have now struggled with food quality and variety for 3 out of 4 years, and it’s enough. Most of us are prepared to pay a good price for a good meal, and do not like to be forced to go to town to find reasonable quality and some variation. Here we choose “based on where can we can not go wrong” and be served undercooked vegetables and over cooked protein, so most of the time nothing but a hamburger or salmon, unless that is served close to raw. Mashed potatoes that look and taste like dense glue do not cut it. 2 seatings at the twilight with sometimes not more than 54 people is close to ridiculous, certainly considering a staff of some 12+ or so. Last year it looked like we might have turned the corner -was there a different group then?-, but this year it was worse ever before. This does not apply to the pastry chef, who dis an outstanding job. The food is inconsistent. Sometimes it is inedible. We need someone in the kitchen who can cook. We do not need a chef with a lot of titles and loves to go to cooking demonstrations, and Plate Craft sessions. Chef Scot can not do fish well. It is tasteless and mushy inside. It’s terrible this year. The entree’s with sauces - you can’t find the sauce. Always have to ask for more. Good news regarding the Sunday brunch changing from a buffet to a menu. Regarding buffets, I understand their necessity for large numbers of people attending holiday events, but it’s disappointing to have difficulty making reservations when there are more members than spots available at a decent time. Perhaps you could consider having a lunch and a dinner on major holidays (like July 4) or two nights of dinner—a buffet one night and a menu the other night. Also, it’s unnecessary and insulting to remind members as they’re consuming their meals that they have a time slot when you have written reminders on the tables. Please serve more fresh vegetable options when they’re so abundant during the summer season. Finally, the club dining prices are as high or higher than local restaurant options. Since we pay a premium price to be club members, couldn’t the meals cost less? so amazing that they know everyone's name right away!
