Amenities Croquet: Word Class Croquet

Sharing time with friends is one of the most wonderful parts of being a member at Cullasaja and it can also be experienced in the Club’s extensive Croquet Play program. At Cullasaja, we love playing “Golf Croquet,” a game with a long history, in which there has been a strong recent resurgence of interest. The Lawn at Cullasaja In 2013 we opened a full-size croquet court: “The Lawn at Cullasaja,” where our Members share good times, while playing a fun or competitive game of Golf Croquet. The lawn was awarded to National Croquet Association’s “Lawn of the Year”. The popularity of croquet continued and in 2019 the Club created two additional lawns for members to enjoy. Croquet is the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the spectacular mountain views that Cullasaja has to offer, and all skill levels are welcome to take part in the enjoyment. If compared to other types of croquet, Golf Croquet requires the same level of accuracy and tactical awareness but offers a less complicated scoring system. Mallets and Martinis This is the perfect way to enjoy the Thursday afternoon “Mallets and Martinis,” the Sunday afternoon Mixed Couples matches, a game in the Ladies League on Monday, in the Men’s League on Tuesday, or just a quick match with friends at any other time.
